For many, many years I thought I could survive on my own, without accepting Jesus in my
heart and in my life as my personal Savior. I lived the life of the flesh, I lusted after
material things and my heart was filled with many impure thoughts. The devil did not have to
waste much man power on me then, I was given to the things that made me feel good at the time.
My life was like a roller coaster, I was up some days and other days I would be down very
low in the pit of sorrow and self-pity. I was very self-centered and lived for the spotlight
to be on me. I always felt that there was something missing from my life and that there was
something I should be doing but I didn’t know what it was. Then on June 28th, 2003 I met a
very special lady who touched my life from the first time that we met. We both knew that our
meeting was not an act of chance, it was God's hand bringing us together.
Without me realizing it, she was praying very hard for me and the convicting power of the
Holy Spirit started to work on my heart. The devil tried to keep us apart from the start but
with the Lord's help we became very close and on September 4th 2003 we were married and at
8:10 pm on that same day, with the guiding hands of Pastor Dan Grey, I accepted Sweet,
precious Jesus in my heart and in my life as my Personal Lord and Savior.
Today I know a joy and peace in my life that is beyond anything that words can describe.
I know that one day I will be in Heaven and be able to bow at the feet of my loving,
sweet, precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and tell him how grateful I am to him for dying
for me that day on the Cross of Calvary and taking my sins and the sins of the world on him.
My friend's I can tell you without any shadow of any doubt that if you confess your sins
to Jesus and ask him to come into your life and your heart as your Lord and Savior, he will
not hesitate and from that moment on you will know the peace and joy that all the people that
follow him knows. The end of the life of the flesh is very near and without Jesus in our lives
we have no hope for an eternal life. Jesus says in John 14:6 " Jesus saith unto him, I am
the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I thank God for all that he does for us and for His sweet, tender mercy and grace that will
someday bring us home. I know 100% for sure that when I die I am going to heaven,
if you want to be sure that if you died tonight you would go to Heaven it would be a blessing
for me to show you from the Bible how you can be sure.
